Custom Poker Cards — Casino-Grade Decks Printed in the USA
Poker size — 2.5 × 3.5 inches — is the format most people mean when they say playing cards, and it is the size we press most. We print custom poker decks on black-core paper and 100% plastic stock at our Orlando, Florida facility, from a 15-deck run up through full retail production.

- True poker size
2.5 × 3.5 in trim, cut on a rotary die for consistent corners.
- Black-core or plastic
Opaque stock so no face reads through the back under table lighting.
- 15-deck minimum
Home-game runs and casino-volume orders come off the same press.
- Made in Orlando
Printed, cut, and packed in Florida — nothing produced overseas.
What makes a poker deck play well?
Three things: an opaque core, a slip coating, and a clean cut. Black-core stock stops light from carrying a face through the back, the coating lets cards release from each other during a riffle instead of clumping, and a sharp die keeps every corner identical so the deck squares up in one tap.
Skip any of the three and the deck feels wrong within a session — sticky shuffles, frayed corners, and cards you can read from the wrong side. Every poker deck we run uses black-core or plastic stock with a slip finish as the baseline, not an upgrade.
Poker size vs bridge size — which should you order?
Poker cards are 2.5 × 3.5 inches; bridge cards are 2.25 × 3.5 inches. Poker is the default for Texas Hold'em, home games, promotional decks, and anything where the back artwork needs presence. Bridge is narrower so a player can hold thirteen cards in one hand comfortably, which is why bridge, canasta, and rummy players prefer it.
We print both sizes on identical stock with identical finishing — the choice is purely about hand feel and game format. The playing card sizes guide covers the dimensional tradeoffs, and both sizes are selectable in the quote tool.
Which stock should a poker deck use?
310 GSM black-core linen is the standard choice: textured, snappy, and the closest match to what players expect from a retail casino deck. It fans well, takes a crease reluctantly, and hides fingerprints.
100% plastic is the upgrade for decks that get heavy repeat play — poker rooms, cruise ships, bars, pool decks. Plastic is washable, effectively tear-proof, and lasts many times longer than any paper stock. Compare both on the card stock and materials page before configuring your run.
How much do custom playing cards cost?
Cost depends on four things: quantity, card stock, card size, and packaging. Because those combinations change the number meaningfully, we do not publish a flat price list on this page — the quote tool prices your exact configuration in about thirty seconds.
Enter your deck count, pick a stock, and the calculator returns real per-deck and total pricing along with a downloadable quote. There is no obligation, and every quote includes a free file review before anything goes to press.
What can you customize on a poker deck?
Card backs, tuck box, jokers, and the ace of spades are the usual four. Full custom face decks — new court cards, new pips, new indices — are equally available, and they still play correctly as long as the indices stay in the standard corner positions at readable size.
Finishing options include foil stamping, spot UV, soft-touch lamination, embossing, and gilded edges. Build against the poker dieline on our free templates page so nothing critical sits inside the trim tolerance.
Who orders custom poker decks?
Casinos and card rooms ordering branded house decks, hotels and resorts stocking guest amenities, companies producing trade-show giveaways, tournament organizers printing event decks, and home-game hosts who want a deck with their own back design.
Because the minimum is 15 decks, a single home game and a national promotion both work. See the use cases library for how each of these builds is typically specced.
