Custom playing cards, five generations in the making.
Mr. Playing Card is the custom game division of Lawton Connect, a fifth-generation, family-owned printer with over 100 years of American printing heritage. From Fortune 500 brands to indie game studios, casinos, and Kickstarter creators, every deck is printed in our 30,000 sq ft facility in Orlando, Florida.

A century of American printing, distilled into custom playing cards.
The Lawton family has been running printing presses in the United States for over 125 years, across five generations of color-critical commercial printing, packaging, and finishing. Today, that operation is known as Lawton Connect.
Mr. Playing Card is the custom playing card division of Lawton Connect, built for creators who shouldn’t have to clear a 5,000-unit minimum, wait on an overseas factory, or spend six months just to hold their deck. From 15-deck prototypes to 250,000-deck production runs, every project is printed with real production equipment, careful color control, and the same family-run team from first proof to final shipment.
So we built the opposite. A vertically integrated 30,000 sq ft facility where a 15-deck short-run prototype runs on the same equipment, with the same calibration, as a 250,000-deck enterprise drop. Same paper. Same inks. Same family checking the cut.
Today our floor presses everything from poker decks to flash cards, affirmation decks, board game components and branded promotional cards — for national brands, indie game studios, and thousands of independent creators. All from one Orlando roof, all backed by a century of Lawton heritage.
Four principles, pressed into every deck.
A 100-year-old American press, not a middleman
Mr. Playing Card is the custom deck division of Lawton Connect — a fifth-generation, family-owned US printer founded over a century ago. Your files stay in America. Every deck is printed, cut, collated and tuck-boxed inside our Orlando facility.
Spec-credible craftsmanship
Black-core stocks, calibrated cut tolerances, color-managed CMYK proofs. The same standards across a 15-deck short-run and a 50,000-deck enterprise drop — held to the same press culture we've refined for five generations.
Real humans on the press floor
Call, email or text — you talk to a print specialist, not a chatbot. Fast replies and same-week digital proofs in most cases. The family still runs the floor.
Low MOQ, premium finish
Start at 15 decks. Order 250,000. Stocks, finishes and color management are identical at every tier — we don't downgrade short runs.
A full print stack under one Orlando roof.
Pre-press, color management, printing, embossing, foiling, die-cutting, tuck assembly, shrink-wrap and fulfillment — all in-house. Nothing outsourced, nothing waiting at customs.
From 280 GSM economy paper to 310 GSM deluxe black-core and waterproof 100% plastic.
Hard-copy proofs printed on your actual stock before the press runs.
Printed, cut and shipped from Orlando — no offshore lead times.
In-house designers fix bleed, safe-zone and dieline issues at no charge.
